Histo Pros is a Mohs and Histology consulting company with experienced trainers in Mohs workshop settings that offers onsite training, technician coverage, CLIA compliance and documentation, lab design, IHC expertise, and histology support services. 

Role Overview:

​​​​​​​Our talented team helps serve the histology industry to better serve physicians and their patients. We would love to partner with you by providing a flexible schedule and desirable pay, whether you desire local or out-of-state opportunities. We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented technician/technologist willing to travel. Opportunities available across the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Mohs frozen section preparation - mapping, labeling, grossing, inking, embedding, sectioning, staining, and cover slipping
• Permanent section preparation - grossing, labeling, processing, embedding in paraffin, sectioning, staining, and cover slipping
• Proper organizing and storage of slides
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of histology equipment and material

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and management
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, and pathology terminology
• Must be reliable
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
• Willing to travel (Reimbursement for travel expenses included)
• Mohs Technician: 2 years (Preferred)
• Laboratory: 1 year (Preferred)
• HT/HTL Certification (a plus)
